Athens: It is the capital city of Greece. It is the oldest capital in the world. It is the most important city of Greece because of its location and significance. It is the center of Greek politics. Crete: It is one of the most exotic islands of Greece. It is the largest island with the total land of 8,336 km and also the fifth largest island in Mediterranean Sea. The places to visit here are: Minoan sites of Knossos and Phaistos, the Venetian castle at Rethymno, the Samaria Gorge, the classical site of Gortys and many more.
